Australia's A-League champions Brisbane Roar on Monday appointed former Dutch international Frans Thijssen as the club's new head coach.
Thijssen, 62, replaces Mike Mulvey, who had previously been sacked on Sunday just a few months after steering the Roar towards premiership-championship double.
